We are so excited to be a part of the benefit for Lowcountry Land Trust.

From their website:
Lowcountry Land Trust’s sustained success in conservation over the last 35 years has protected more than 150,000 acres primarily through the acquisition of conservation easements. Conservation easements are a legal agreement entered into voluntarily by both the landowner and Land Trust. Within the easement is a promise, fulfilled by both parties, to protect land forever. The land remains the property of the landowner, and the easement stays with the land, regardless of sale or inheritance.

The City of Orangeburg’s Trunk or Treat will be hosted at the Edisto Memorial Gardens on Friday, October 20th from 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm.

Local business will be there handing out candy to children 12 and under. There will also be a haunted trail, costume contest, rock painting and more!

We will be there with the smoker serving up our DELICIOUS BBQ and other fixin’s. Stop by and make sure to grab you something to eat while you enjoy all the fun things to do!

Come out on Saturday, Oct 14th to Stomp Out Cancer, and event hosted by the RMC Foundation, Pink Ribbon Fund, and DORA.

This FREE event will have music, games, silly contests, children’s activities, popcorn, cotton candy, and of course US! We’ll be out there selling our delicious farm-raised BBQ plates.

The first 200 kids will go home with a free trick-or-treat bag!

The Firebox Initiative Inc. was founded by restaurant people for restaurant people. Griffin Bufkin and Harrison Sapp know what it means to suffer through tough times. When their restaurant, Southern Soul Barbeque, burned down on March 27, 2010 they did not know how they would get through. They quickly found out that their friends in the community and in the restaurant business would lift them up in their time of need. They have never forgotten that feeling and it is what drives their desire to help others with the Firebox Initiative.
