From Our Farm to Your Freezer
Stock your freezer with meat raised on Peculiar Pig Farm. We offer woodlot raised whole hogs, sheep/lambs, goats, and whole processed chickens. Whole or half hogs, sheep/lambs, and goats are available as Animal Only, priced by hanging weight, or Farm to Freezer, which includes standard processing. Chicken is whole only, with no cut up options.
Pickup and delivery
Finished Whole Animal orders can be picked up free at Williamsburg Packing in Kingstree, South Carolina, not at the farm. Home delivery is available for finished, processed orders, including Farm to Freezer, Animal Only after processing, and whole chickens. Delivery is a flat zone fee per drop, not per animal:
Zone A (Charleston, Dorchester, Berkeley, coastal Lowcountry): $100
Zone B (Columbia area and similar mid state): $150
Zone C (North Carolina or Georgia): $200
Free Kingstree pickup is available at Williamsburg Packing. Delivery fee is due with your final balance.

Reserve deposits are nonrefundable. Your deposit will be credited toward the final invoice when the order is completed.
HOW TO ORDER
• Choose a whole hog or a half hog, a whole sheep or lamb, a whole goat, or whole chickens.
• Whole or half hog buyers pay the $300 Whole Hog Reserve Deposit. Sheep and lamb buyers pay the $150 Sheep/Lamb Reserve Deposit. Goat buyers pay the $150 Goat Reserve Deposit. Chicken buyers reserve by form.
• We confirm your reserve and schedule processing.
• Processor recorded hanging weight, or finished chicken weight, sets the final price.
• Choose cuts. Specialty work may cost extra.
• Pick up at Williamsburg Packing in Kingstree, SC, or select delivery.

RESERVE DEPOSITS
Whole Hog Reserve Deposit, covering whole hogs and half hogs, $300
Deposit covers whole hogs and half hogs, is credited toward the final bill, and is nonrefundable.
Sheep/Lamb Reserve Deposit, $150
Deposit will be credited toward your final invoice.
Goat Reserve Deposit, $150
Deposit will be credited toward your final invoice.
Chicken: reserve by form. No online deposit. Whole chickens only.

Half Hog: Farm to Freezer $7.65 per pound hanging weight. Reserve with the $300 Whole Hog Reserve Deposit.
Example: a half hog at about 100 lb hanging is about $765 (100 x $7.65), with your $300 deposit credited to the final bill.

Please Note: Hanging weight is the weight of the animal after initial processing and is not the same as the amount of packaged meat you will take home. Final packaged yield varies based on the animal and selected cuts.
Farm to Freezer pricing includes standard processing and packaging. Specialty processing, including sausage, bacon, smoking, curing, patties, and other custom items, is available for an additional charge.
Unless we say otherwise in writing, specialty processing charges are billed by Williamsburg Packing and paid to the processor, not included in Peculiar Pig Farm's per pound farm price. Confirm at scheduling.
Animal Only processing prices are estimates and are subject to Williamsburg Packing's current rates. Standard processing is paid separately to Williamsburg Packing.
Final invoice uses the processor recorded hanging weight, or finished chicken weight, minus the credited deposit. Exact weights vary.
