From Our Farm to Your Freezer
Stock your freezer with meat raised on Peculiar Pig Farm. We offer whole hogs, sheep/lambs, goats, and whole processed chickens. For hogs, sheep/lambs, and goats, choose Animal Only (priced by hanging weight) or Farm-to-Freezer (includes standard processing). We haul animals to the processor at no additional charge.
Processing cut choices (Williamsburg Packing)
Farm-to-Freezer includes standard cut-and-wrap. Specialty items (sausage, bacon curing, smoking, custom thicknesses, and similar extras) are usually charged at the processor unless we say otherwise in writing.

Hogs (pork): Shoulder (whole, Boston butt, or picnic), loin (whole or chops), fatback, belly/bacon, ribs, ham, organs and soup bones, ground or sausage.
Sheep and goat: Shoulder, rib and loin racks (whole or chops), legs (bone-in or boneless), shanks, ribs, stew meat, ground, plus options to save fat, head, hides, liver, tail, and bones.

Choose your animal and option. Pay the reserve deposit below; deposits are credited to the final invoice. We confirm your reserve and schedule processing. Pick up your finished order at Williamsburg Packing in Kingstree, South Carolina. PICKUP ONLY - no delivery fees.

RATES AND BALLPARK FINAL COSTS
Whole hog: Animal Only $5/lb hanging; Farm-to-Freezer $7/lb hanging. Typical Farm-to-Freezer example: about 200 lb hanging = about $1,400 at $7/lb (deposit $300 credited). Animal Only processing at Williamsburg Packing is typically about $340 for a 200 lb animal, paid separately.
Whole sheep/lamb: Animal Only $10/lb hanging; Farm-to-Freezer $13/lb hanging. Typical Farm-to-Freezer example: about 55 lb hanging = about $715 at $13/lb (deposit $150 credited). Animal Only processing at Williamsburg Packing is typically about $150-$175.
Whole goat: Animal Only $11/lb hanging; Farm-to-Freezer $15/lb hanging. Typical Farm-to-Freezer example: about 45 lb hanging = about $675 at $15/lb (deposit $150 credited). Animal Only processing at Williamsburg Packing is typically about $135-$165.
Whole chicken: about $35-$49 for a 5-7 lb cleaned whole bird at $7/lb; no deposit.
Exact hanging weight varies. Final invoice = rate x processor-recorded weight minus your deposit credit. Farm-to-Freezer includes standard processing; specialty sausage, bacon, smoking, curing, patties, and similar work can add more. Animal Only is lower per pound to the farm, with standard processing paid separately to Williamsburg Packing.
